Ganesh Himal Trek

This is a non tourist but perfect area to be in Nature along the Himalaya and in typical culture of the ethnic tribe Gurung, Tamang, Ghale, Bhramin, Newar and many more. Cultural diversity, natural beauties - from tropical-sub tropical to Alpine vegetation with well preserved wild life and experiences of the Himalayas, in optional duration  from one week to 3 weeks are the main advantages of this trip.

Trip Highlights :
Starting Point :  Betrawati (after riding 5 hours drive from Kathmandu)
Ending at : Golabhanjyang, 6.00 hrs drive to Kathmandu.
Grade : Moderate to Strenuous.
Culture : Mixed (Brahman, chetris, kami, damai, sarki, gurung, tamangs, magars etc).
Highest Access : Sing-la Pass (4400 meters) or Sing-la Top (4600m)
Mode of Trekking Tour : Camping and 2 night’s Local home stay.

Trekking Itinerary  :
Day 1: Kathmandu 1300 m.
Day 2: Kathmandu Excursion.Visit of the world heritage sites, Bouddhanath (Buddhist Stupa), Pashupatinath (Hindu temple) Soyambhunath (The Monkey temple). O/N at Hotel on BB plan.Your arrival in Tribhuban International Airport in Kathmandu. You will be met by Company representative and transfer to Hotel by private Car/Van. O/N at hotel on BB plan.
Day 3: Betrawati 910 M and saat Dobato 1230 m.
$ hrs drive to Betrwati and 2.30 hrs walk up to your camp beside the local villages. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 4: Bhalche .. M.
5 hrs slow accent up to Bhalche a huge Tamang and Ghale village through many farming terraces. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 5: Gonger … m
5 hrs accent up to the pine forest camp through the rhododendron and tropical boshy forest. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 6: Rupchet … m
Easy accent for 3.30 hrs. Camp just below the Singla pass 4200 M. A open camp above the pine forest with a scenic view to the south green hills and Langtang Himalaya to east. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 7: Sing la top and down to Kharka … m
2 hrs hike up to Sing la top 4600 M which is a great panoramic views of more than 20 snow peaks including 8163 Mt Manaslslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. 2 hrs decent to Camp. O/N on tented camp on full board.
Day 8: Sertung … m
5 hrs decent down through a dense pine, bamboo and rhododendron forest. Arrive in Shertung a huge Buddhist settlement. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 9: Sertung
Day for leisure and excursion of the local typical life in local families.  O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 10: Borang. … m
A day hiking down to camp through wide cultivation and across local villages viewing Mt. Ganesh Himal closely. O/N at tented camp on full board.
Day 11: Trek to Kintang Phedi …
Day for long decent to the last camp across many local villages of Tamang and Gurung villages following the hill side above Ankhu river fed by Ganesh Hila Glacier. O/N at tented camp. Fare well dinners with local porters and locals.
Day 12: Kathmandu.
2 hrs bumpy drive by local jeeps and 3 hrs smooth drive to Kathmandu by chartered bus/Van. O/N at hotel on BB plan.
Day 13: Kathmandu:
Excursion of the world heritage site (Bhaktapure) famous for porterry and many temples of wooden carvings.  Group fare well dinner with cultural program. O/N at hotel on BB plan.
Day 14: Departure to home country or, join on onward journey.
Transfer to TIA airport for the departure to home country. Program end.
